MMCCU is commemorating six decades of service to the community with a month-long “Find the Rock” scavenger hunt throughout August. Each week, a specially decorated rock will be hidden at a public Marshfield location – with clues shared on MMCCU’s Facebook page – offering participants the chance to win a $100 Visa gift card.

How It Works

  • Weekly Hides: Beginning the first week of August and continuing each Monday (August 4,11,18,25), MMCCU will post a clue on its Facebook page pointing to the rock’s new hiding spot.
  • First to Return: The first person to locate the rock and bring it to MMCCU’s location at 302 W. Upham Street will claim the prize for that week.
  • Total Prizes: Four decorated rocks, four winners, and four $100 Visa gift cards.

MMCCU “Find the Rock” Challenge – Official Rules & Regulations

Overview:
Each week in August 2025, MMCCU will hide a specially marked rock in a public location within the city of Marshfield. A clue will be shared on MMCCU’s social media channels to assist participants in locating the hidden rock. The first person to find the rock and follow the outlined steps will receive a $100 prize.

How to Participate

  1. Watch MMCCU’s social media accounts for weekly clues.
  2. Use the clue to search for the hidden rock in Marshfield. It will be in PUBLIC areas only.
  3. Once you find the rock: Bring the rock to MMCCU (302 W. Upham Street, Marshfield, WI) during regular business hours to claim your prize.

Contest Rules

  • One rock will be hidden each week during the month of August.
  • All rocks will be hidden in publicly accessible outdoor locations within the Marshfield city limits.
  • Rocks will not be buried or placed in any dangerous, inaccessible, or private areas. Participants are expected to respect property and landscaping and should not dig or damage any surroundings.
  • Only the first individual to return the rock to MMCCU will be eligible to receive the weekly prize.
  • Limit one prize per person during the contest period.

Eligibility

  • The contest is open to the general public.
  • MMCCU employees, board members, and their immediate family or household members are not eligible to participate.
  • Individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to claim the prize.

Liability and Consent

  • Participants take part at their own risk. MMCCU is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or property damage incurred during participation in the contest.
  • By participating, individuals agree to conduct themselves safely and respectfully while searching for the rock.
  • By claiming the prize, participants grant MMCCU permission to use their name and photograph in promotional materials, including but not limited to social media, website, and other marketing communications.

Contest Period

  • The “Find the Rock” Challenge will run weekly throughout August 2025.
  • Clues will be released on MMCCU’s social media platforms at the beginning of each week. The hunt begins once the clue is posted and ends when the rock is found and returned to MMCCU.
