MMCCU is inviting the community to join in spreading holiday cheer through Benevolent Branches, a new seasonal giving campaign that connects local generosity with area charities.

Similar to the “Angel Tree” concept, Benevolent Branches serves as a festive hub for holiday giving, spotlighting local nonprofit organizations and their most needed items. Each ornament on the Benevolent Branches tree will feature a tag with a wish list item from a participating charity. Community members can select a tag, purchase the item, and return it to MMCCU by December 5 in exchange for a keepsake ornament.

“All donations will be delivered directly to participating organizations, helping them continue their important work during the season of giving,” said Tiffany Schara, Business Development Specialist at MMCCU. “This program is a meaningful way for our community to give back while celebrating the spirit of the holidays.”

Visit MMCCU (302 W Upham) between November 12 and December 1 to choose an item from the tree. Items must be returned by December 5. UPDATE: Extended to December 12!
