Safe Deposit Boxes are available at MMCCU in Marshfield. Available are the following sizes: 3×5 (for $20), 3×10 (for $30), and 5×10 (for $50). This annual fee is non-refundable, and will be automatically debited from your designated account annually. At opening, two (2) keys are issued for each box.
In the event that you lose one key, there will be a replacement fee. In the event that both keys are lost or not returned upon termination, there is a fee for unilateral credit union access drilling. The cost of key replacement and/or drilling will be determined by the actual fee charged to us by our service provider.
Safe deposit box access is only available during regular business hours. Lobby hours are: Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:30pm safe deposit box contents are not insured by NCUA, the national credit union association (NCUA). Insuring personal property within the safe deposit box is the sole responsibility of the lessee.
Some helpful Safe Deposit Box ‘do’s’ and ‘don’ts’:
Do:
- Store keys in separate locations
- Keep inventory of box contents for your records
- Check safe deposit box booth prior to leaving, to make sure you have all of your belongings
Do not:
- Make duplicate keys (this is strictly prohibited)
- Put extra key in safe deposit box
- Put name of MMCCU on safe deposit box envelope
- Put box number on/ or attached to your keys
- Overfill safe deposit box to ensure proper closure of box
