MMCCU President David Murphy spoke at the UWEC Nursing Program orientation at the Marshfield Campus this morning, where 11 new students began their journey towards a nursing degree. Students were given goodie bags full of helpful items for their upcoming studies, as well as a gift certificate to Weiler’s and other information on financial literacy.
Murphy shared that MMCCU is there to help answer any questions about finances, from opening a checking account to managing student loans.
“We’re here to help!” he told the students. “Please reach out if you have any questions!”
With MMCCU membership consisting of healthcare workers, the partnership with UWEC is an exciting undertaking for the credit union.
