National Nursing Assistants Week June 14-21.
During National Nursing Assistant Week, we want to take the time to offer these caregivers thanks for the care they provide! CNAs not only provide basic quality of life care to patients of all ages in a variety of healthcare settings, they have daily contact and interactions with their patients and often serve as the eyes and ears of nurses, LPNs, and physicians.
“At MMCCU, we are honored to serve the nursing community and help with their financial needs,” said President David Murphy. “They deserve a special thanks this week for all they do!”
This week serves to recognize the nursing assistants who dedicate their lives to the well-being of others. They are employed by hospitals and nursing homes and perform everyday living tasks for the elderly, chronically ill or rehabilitation patients who cannot care for themselves. By exploring the role of nursing assistants, we can see how invaluable they are to their patient’s lives.
