At the Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union Annual Meeting on Monday, the membership elected two new members to the Board of Directors: Ed Korlesky & Tom Novicki. Incumbent Debra Oleson-Brock also renewed her term. We thank these volunteers, along will all Board Members, for all they do for the Credit Union. DEBRA OLESON-BROCK (Incumbent)
Deb has worked at the Health System since 1985. She has held a variety of positions including Payroll/Internal Audit Assistant, Accounting Assistant; Payroll Supervisor and Manager of Payroll, Vendor Accounts Payable and Travel, and her current role as an Sr HR Business Partner Manager since 2010. Deb has been a member of MMCCU since 1985 and it is truly a family affair as her husband, Terry and children also utilize the credit union. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, leisure bike riding, kayaking, and reading.
Deb comments: “I enjoy being a member of MMCCU. I always feel like family when I stop in. The staff is friendly and always very helpful”.
EDWARD KORLESKY (Nominating Committee)
Ed is currently retired after working for over 35 years as the manager of the Marshfield Medical Center Media Department at the Marshfield Clinic Health System. He has a master’s degree in Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch College and an undergraduate degree in Communications from the University of Wisconsin. During his tenure at the medical center, he served two terms as trustee of the Marshfield Clinic Employee Retirement Plan. Ed is currently serving as president of the Marshfield Area Habitat for Humanity. Ed has been a Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union member since 1994.
THOMAS NOVICKI (Nominating Committee)
Tom and his wife Beth of 33 years, are natives of the Chicagoland area. They have two adult daughters, one a cardiothoracic PA and the other an urban arborist, both who live and work in Milwaukee. They came to Marshfield in 2003 after spending time in Seattle and Salt Lake City. Tom received his education in microbiology from the University of Utah. He currently works at Marshfield Clinic Health System as a clinical scientist in the diagnostic laboratory’s microbiology section. His career in laboratory medicine spans 36 years. He has served on various boards and committees including as a trustee on the Marshfield Clinic Retirement Plan board. Tom enjoys cars, collecting vintage Seiko watches, gardening, and fishing in his spare time.
Tom comments: “After receiving so much from the community and MMCCU, I thought it time to pay some of that back by volunteering for this board position. I hope my years of experience will allow me to productively contribute to this position.”
