Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union will host its 55th Annual Meeting on Monday, July 20 at 6:00pm – virtually! Open to all members of the credit union, the goal of this meeting is to elect three open positions for the Board of Directors and to present the credit union’s successes of 2019.
“One of the ways Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union demonstrates our uniqueness in the financial services world is by holding our Annual Meeting with our member-owners,” said Brooks Burt, Board Chairman, adding that being a member-owner means more than just being a customer.
“The credit union Annual Meeting is actually the annual meeting of the membership. This a huge part of what makes credit unions so different from banks,” he said. “It is at the Annual Meeting that the membership gets to choose the volunteer Board of Directors for the credit union. You also get to hear about the plan the credit union leadership has for the year.”
The Annual Meeting also provides an opportunity for members to (this year, virtually) meet the credit union’s Board of Directors, President/CEO, and the Management Team.
“The family spirit is why I steered my mother and son here when they needed financial guidance and services. They are cared for by experienced staff, and I’m assured they aren’t being taken advantage of by the many predatory offers that target them,” added Burt. “The Annual Meeting is definitely one of the many benefits of credit union membership, and I encourage you to attend the Annual Meeting for your credit union.”
If you would like to attend the virtual annual meeting, we encourage all members to call the credit union at 715-387-8686 or email at mmccu@mmccu.com to RSVP. We will send you a link to participate.
