Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union (MMCCU) sponsored two $500 scholarships that were recently awarded to Mid-State Technical College (MSTC) students pursuing careers in healthcare.
“We want to help make it easier for students to get the training they need to serve in our healthcare facilities,” said MMCCU President David Murphy. “The need for healthcare is not going away and there is a bigger need than ever of getting people educated to fill these positions. The commitment to help these students will help our communities maintain quality healthcare for decades to come.”
Mid-State Technical College (MSTC) students Sierra Steinmetz and Mariah Guyer were each awarded a scholarship.
Guyer currently works in the MMCU Emergency Room as a Health Unit Coordinator and Emergency Medical Technician. Steinmetz is enrolled in the MSTC Nursing Program and plans to graduate as an RN in May 2023.
