Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union (MMCCU) proudly announces its successful fundraising initiative in support of the Marshfield Area Pet Shelter’s (MAPS) annual fundraiser, “Paws for Brittany.” During the month of April, MMCCU sold specially designed magnets bearing the message, “My Hoomans Love Credit Unions,” with all proceeds benefiting this important cause.
“Paws for Brittany” is an annual event held in memory of Brittany Zimmermann, and it serves as a significant fundraising opportunity for MAPS to provide essential care and support to animals in need. MMCCU actively participated in this initiative by offering the custom-designed magnets for sale to its members and the local community.
The credit union is proud to announce that the magnet sales campaign successfully raised $649 to contribute to the “Paws for Brittany” fundraiser. This achievement exemplifies MMCCU’s commitment to making a positive impact within the community it serves.
On May 18, a check representing the funds raised was presented to Karen Rau, MAPS Executive Director. The contribution from MMCCU will contribute to the overall success of the “Paws for Brittany” initiative, which raised an impressive total of over $22,000 this year.
“As a non-profit credit union serving the healthcare community and their families, MMCCU is dedicated to supporting local initiatives that make a meaningful difference. We are thrilled to have been a part of the ‘Paws for Brittany’ fundraiser and contribute to the outstanding work of Marshfield Area Pet Shelter,” said David Murphy, President of MMCCU.
If you’d like to still purchase a magnet, you can do so at the credit union or online here.
