Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union Pledges $5,000 to Marshfield Clinic Health System Foundation
Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union (MMCCU) has donated $5,000 to the Marshfield Clinic Health System Foundation, through a partnership with Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago’s Relief Program.
MMCCU applied for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago’s COVID-19 Relief Program, which consists of zero-rate advances and grants to support all of its member institutions and the communities they serve as they respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We are pledging $5,000 to the MCHS HOPE fund, which is helping MCHS employees impacted by COVID-19,” explained David Murphy, VP of Finance & Risk. “With our members so connected to the health care field, we felt this was a very worthy cause and are proud to be able to support our members during this tough time.”
“All of us at Marshfield Clinic Health System Foundation are so grateful for MMCCU’s continued partnership,” said Kailey Alvarado, Annual Giving Officer at MCHS Foundation. “MCHS Foundation’s HOPE Fund offers financial assistance for basic needs to MCHS employees undergoing financial hardship.
“The HOPE Fund is a way for employees to help fellow employees in need due to unexpected illness, family crisis or a catastrophic event,” she added. “This generous gift to the HOPE Fund makes it possible for even more MCHS employees to receive the support they need during this uncertain time.”
