Stephanie Rasmussen, Assistant Vice President of Human Resources & Training at Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union (MMCCU), has earned the Certified Wisconsin Credit Union Leader (CWCUL) designation through the Wisconsin Credit Union League’s Leadership Institute. Rasmussen completed the requirements of the program, marking a key milestone in her ongoing professional development.
The League Leadership Institute is a structured leadership program designed to help emerging and mid-level credit union managers strengthen their leadership capabilities and prepare for future opportunities within the movement. Participants engage in a series of online sessions covering topics such as performance management, employee engagement, emotional intelligence, and project management, culminating in a personalized action plan to apply learning on the job. Those who complete enough of the program’s modules earn the CWCUL designation, a credential that reflects a deep commitment to professional growth and leadership excellence.
“I pursued the Leadership Institute certification because I believe strong leadership requires continual learning and intentional development,” said Rasmussen. “The modules on Performance Management, CliftonStrengths, and Employee Engagement and Coaching were especially impactful, as they provided practical tools I can immediately apply to support, develop, and engage our teams more effectively.”
“Stephanie’s achievement reflects a dedication to enhancing her leadership skills and brings additional expertise to MMCCU’s leadership team,” said MMCCU President David Murphy. “As she applies insights gained through the Leadership Institute, the credit union’s members and staff can benefit from her strengthened leadership perspective.”
Congratulations to Stephanie Rasmussen on earning the Certified Wisconsin Credit Union Leader credential and on her continued professional growth.
