With the Marshfield Clinic’s upcoming merger and 401(k) plan transition from Fidelity to Prudential at the end of the year, now is a great time for participants—especially retirees or former employees—to review their retirement accounts.

If you’re no longer employed by the clinic, you may have options for what to do with your existing Fidelity 401(k) funds. You can choose to roll them over into the new plan, move them to an IRA, or keep them with Fidelity. Each option has different benefits depending on your financial goals, fees, and investment preferences.

MMCCU partner Kenneth Courts, who works with Fidelity and assists members with tax preparation and wealth management, is available to help you understand these choices and decide what’s best for you. Kenneth can also help if you’d like to explore keeping your account with Fidelity or consolidating your funds elsewhere.

Before the year-end transition, take a few minutes to review your options. To schedule a conversation with Kenneth Courts, contact his direct phone number at 262-510-2226, or his office phone at 262-232-808.
