Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union (MMCCU) has donated $5,000 to Opportunity Development Center (ODC), through a partnership with Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago’s Relief Program.
MMCCU applied for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago’s COVID-19 Relief Program, which consists of zero-rate advances and grants to support all of its member institutions and the communities they serve as they respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“This gift will allow us to continue to be creative and carry out our mission: to empower people with disabilities to achieve their work and life goals during this unprecedented time,” said ODC Executive Vice President Julie Strenn. “We continue to support individuals in connecting and contributing to their communities and working as front line heroes in businesses in the community.”
“We are proud to support ODC and their important local mission,” said Carol Adler, MMCCU President. “They do amazing work in the community!”
“We are grateful for MMCCU’s support,” added Strenn. “We have been overwhelmed by the support in our communities during the last seven months. We have experienced how anything can be accomplished when a community comes together.”
