Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union President David Murphy was recently elected to serve on CUNA Mutual’s Select Credit Union Council for small credit unions.
The Select CU Council is a forward-thinking, member-based advisory team of credit union leaders who support senior leaders from more than 4,000 small and midsize credit unions across the country, providing insights and solutions, which help them navigate the evolving business and market conditions.
They accomplish this by combining CUNA Mutual Group’s research and analytics with smaller credit union best practices. A major focus of the committee is helping smaller credit unions unlock their full potential.
“As the President of a local credit union, I know first-hand how critical it is to connect with individuals in our industry, so we can share ideas, challenges and best practices that help all of us grow and differentiate,” said Murphy. “This council has a unique view into what matters and what works, and I truly believe we are helping smaller credit unions stay relevant and become successful.”
