MMCCU is proud to announce the promotion of Jerry Litwaitis to the role of Senior Vice President of Lending, effective January 1, 2025. This well-deserved promotion reflects Jerry’s remarkable contributions, steadfast dedication, and extensive experience spanning 32 years with the credit union.
As Vice President of Lending since 1998, Jerry has been instrumental in the growth and success of MMCCU’s lending division. He has cultivated strong relationships with members and led efforts to improve lending services, aligning with the credit union’s mission of “people helping people.” In his new role, Jerry will take on expanded responsibilities, including oversight of the credit union’s IS&T program and serving as the primary decision-maker in the event President David Murphy is absent.
President David Murphy praised Jerry’s promotion, stating, “Jerry’s leadership, experience, and commitment to our members make him the ideal choice for this role. His contributions over the past three decades have been vital to our success, and I am confident his expanded responsibilities will further propel our credit union’s growth and enhance the services we provide to our members.”
Jerry joined MMCCU in April 1992 and quickly found his passion in lending after a brief stint as a teller. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a comprehensive Finance Degree, Jerry’s expertise has been a cornerstone of MMCCU’s lending success.
Reflecting on his career, Jerry shared, “We have a great staff that makes coming into work every day a joy. The credit union concept of people helping people is something I truly believe in and strive to achieve each and every day.”
Jerry has been a Wisconsin resident since the age of four. He moved to Marshfield in 1992, where he built a life rooted in family and community. Jerry and his wife, Crystal, have two daughters, Sierra and Sydney. Jerry credits his late father as a significant influence on his personal and professional life.
In his free time, Jerry enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time outdoors. A passionate sports fan, Jerry embodies the balance of dedication to work and personal fulfillment that MMCCU celebrates.
As Senior Vice President of Lending, Jerry will lead the charge in advancing MMCCU’s strategic goals, fostering deeper relationships with members, and driving innovation within lending operations. His leadership will continue to shape the future of MMCCU as a trusted partner in the financial well-being of its members.
