Please help us welcome Jennifer Meece to the MMCCU Board of Directors! Board members are volunteers who help steer the CU.
Jennifer joined the Marshfield Clinic Research Institute in 2001 as a post-doctoral fellow. What was intended to be a 2- year stint in Marshfield has transformed into a 20-year career at the Research Institute. Jennifer currently serves as the Director of the Integrated Research and Development Laboratory and is a Senior Scientist. In the role as Director, she oversees the laboratory support of a myriad of research studies ranging from clinical trials to large cohort studies located across the United States.
She also has an independent research program focusing on a variety of infectious diseases including blastomycosis and tick-borne infections. She is native of North Dakota having attended the University of North Dakota as an undergraduate and has graduate degrees from Western Illinois University (MS) and the University of Notre Dame (PhD). Jennifer has raised two adult children in the Marshfield community and spent many hours volunteering her time while raising her children.
She is looking forward to giving back to the community in a new way through service on the Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union Board.
