Credit Unions are not-for-profit and member-focused, meaning we care more about people than profits. Our goal is to provide members with lower fees, lower rates on loans, and higher interest on deposit accounts. We also give back to the community and team up with other credit unions to make an even larger impact.
Financial Education is also important. We want to help our community budget, manage finances, and live well. Relationship with money.
Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union is the largest health care credit union in Wisconsin. Our membership is healthcare workers and their families, so we understand this demographic and can serve them best. Being a credit union means our main purpose is to serve our members. A bank, by contrast, is responsible to shareholders.
